So now is the moment, seize the day, do we send our residents out the door by patting them on the back "good luck" and drop them like hot potatoes?

NO!    NO!      NO!

America can no longer afford to patch homelessness, they say "teach a man to fish and he will eat for life". (unless there are no lakes or streams within a hundred miles, then they will starve) but don't we feel good about teaching him to fish?

From Foundation For America's Homeless Orientation Center our residents graduate to apartments or homes pending individual or families.

Once again this is NO FREE RIDE! Based on rent prices locally, coupled with what our residents earn in monthly income. We tailor our program to keep them independent for life. We place them in Foundation For America's Homeless houses or apartments based on what they can afford in rent, then they subsidize the remaining rent with donated labor back to Foundation For America's Homeless or local communities.
